Roman Laufer (born 1970) is a Canadian Painter, Photographer and an award-winning Surface Textile Designer.
On April 19, 2010, he suffered a heart attack while working in his studio. He was immediately rushed into surgery where he underwent a quadruple heart by-pass. During his recovery, he centered his attention back to painting as a way of finding peace and balance in his life.
