Roman Laufer is a commercial designer with more than 30 years of experience across design and manufacturing. He currently serves as Director of Sales & Product Development at Plastic Film Corporation, where he works closely with a dedicated team of engineers to develop innovative commercial products and advanced polymer solutions that prioritize durability, performance, and design.

Throughout his career, Roman has partnered with OEMs and organizations worldwide, contributing to the development of product lines, furniture, and commercial textiles. His work has been recognized by the American Gravure Association with three awards for excellence in design. He has collaborated with a broad range of respected companies and institutions, including Ford Motor Company, Fiat/Chrysler, Sea Ray, Los Angeles and Denver public transit systems, Vans, Herman Miller, Knoll Fabrics, CIBC, United Way, and Heart and Stroke Canada.

In addition to his industry work, Roman is an accomplished photographer and fine-art painter, with artwork exhibited internationally, including four pieces shown at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Outside of work, he values an active lifestyle and enjoys fitness, photography, painting, and motorcycle riding.
